GetThemAll is a 7 year old file downloading app for the Android operating system that has over 5,000,000 installs and over 104,300 reviews with a score of 4.3 stars. If those stats weren’t enough to intrigue you, perhaps their $1,206 in monthly profit will get you itching to make a deal.
Tell us a little about yourself. How did you find yourself starting GetThemAll?
I have over 30 iOS and Android apps and am always looking for apps that I can acquire and improve. I acquired GetThemAll about a year ago. Now that I am focusing my entire business on iOS, I am selling all my Android apps.
At 7 years old, this is a very well aged app. What sort of evolution has it gone through over the years and how often have upgrades been made to keep it running smoothly?
I have only owned the app for about a year. It is very ingrained on Google Play and had been getting big download numbers for years, so I wanted to take advantage of the organic downloads and improve the monetization. We completely redesigned the app and implemented in-app purchases, and now the app is averaging over $200 in profit per day.
Besides you and your developer, is anyone else on the team? How much time is spent working on this business be it development, customer service, or otherwise?
The app is entirely local and doesn’t require any ongoing maintenance. Like any app, minor customer service is needed. Since the new update was fully rolled out, the app is averaging over $200 per day. That’s over $70,000 a year in passive income.
What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form? Are engineering skills necessary or can your developer handle nearly everything on the technical side?
I will provide the contact info of my developer, who is eager to work with the new owner. She can handle any updates you want to implement, and you won’t need to worry about any technical details. This is really a perfect passive income investment. With this new update, GetThemAll is a $70k/year cash machine. With improvements and marketing, it could be even more.
What sort of marketing have you implemented for the app?
We have no form of marketing whatsoever. With some promotions or better Google Play optimization, or additional localization, revenue could be improved even further by getting more downloads.
